Move 189

If everyone played one stone, would we have a game?

Mixed media on canvas. 30 x 30 inches

This is the final position of a zen go game played at the U.S. Go Congress at Boston in 2026. Each player could place a single stone per day. The record of move sequence was kept in a kifu.

No player could have a strategy beyond a single move. And yet there was a game.
