Icons

Infographics require laconic representation of multiple facts and figures which often can be done by using icons. Similar to their usage in road signs and way finding signs, the icons aim to unambiguously represent a single concept.

I have been working on an icon collection specifically for infographics. The icons are based on the graphic guidelines of the National Park Service Collection.

These icons are optimized for use on maps which is why they tend to work inside complete data visualizations and infographics as well.
